I purchased the book Aug. 28. Why should I have to pay for 2-3 day shipping when I just got the book 1 week ago!! I will never order from Amazon again. The only positive thing about it was the book was in the shape described.

Mosby’s Comprehensive Review of Dental Hygiene is an excellent resource for people studying for their dental hygienist national board exams. This guide also effectively correlates the information in the guide to real-life practice situations, so it is pragmatic as well as theoretical.
The text is clear and well written; the illustrations are high quality, providing a significant amount of close detail; and the sample test questions provide excellent insight into the types of questions that dental hygienists will need to answer on their national boards. Students can then self-evaluate their progress and their understanding of the material presented.

Because the national board testing focuses strongly on problem-solving skills of the test taker, it’s wonderful to see a test guide also focus on those skills – both on what is needed and what needs further developed to find success.

We applaud the additional information provided on ethical and legal matters, as well as the updated safety information. The Internet resources provided in the text allow students to gather additional relevant information on a wide range of topics important to dental hygienists.

We recommend that dental hygienist students use Mosby’s Comprehensive Review of Dental Hygiene as their national board preparatory tool. The price is quite reasonable when considering the wealth of information being provided.

This book came to me in ment condition. Looks brand new and had no ware on it at all. It save me money, time, and effort. This was a great buy!

Don’t buy this book! The sections are too long and take a lot of time to cover. There aren’t a lot of good examples or clarifications of what they are trying to make you understand. The test questions at the end of each section are much more difficult then what you have to know for the actual NATIONAL BOARD. There is a mock test at the end of the book, but don’t attempt it because your score will only depress you. The reading is very dry and you’ll get to the point where all you want to do is throw it in the garbage. If I could return this book for half the price that I’ve already paid I would do it gladly.

This book is not as bad as the previous review. Most of students in my class have this book and we agree that it’s very helfull. There are a lot of information in the book appeared in the latest National Board exam in March. The authors of this bood just need to update the changes of recent NB exam. I personally believe that the person who wrote the previous commen was the same person who wrote the commen for the book title “Review of Dental Hygiene” by Debralee McKelvey Nelson.
